Why do you charge to be a part of Devoted Dads?
Devoted Dad is a campaign orchestrated by The Gentlemen Project-a 501 c3 charity. Most charities raise money by hosting galas, silent auctions and asking fordonations. We think that takes a lot of time and effort away from what we really want to do, which is creating a world-class place for fathers to both get and give practical advice on becoming a better dad. Each dad who joins and becomes a Devoted Dad is making a small monthly contribution to a charity in exchange for the value it provides. We think it's the right way for everyone here to have some skin in the game and make it so we are around for each other for a long time.
Is Devoted Dads for everyone?
Devoted Dad is for any dad who wants to become better at his job of being a dad. We love input and feedback from women, mothers and wives. The purpose of the website is to help men become better dads. Anyone can make a donation to help the cause and we appreciate your donation so much. Message boards in the forums will be limited to dads speaking to other dads. If you have a contribution to make, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How much does it cost? What is it used for?
The cost to be a Devoted Dad is just $7.99 a month or $79.00 per year. For less than the price of a greasy hamburger meal, you get all Devoted Dad creates for you. We use the funds collected to create original, thought provoking content and curriculum that motivates, coaches and brings dads together. Our small staff helps keep everything running smoothly and keeps the content fresh so you always have something new. The more dads we have participating, the bigger and more influential our content will become.
How do I share my story with Devoted Dads?
If you have a question, comment or a story to share that you think would help other dads in their quest to become a better dad please share it with us either in the forum discussions or email us at email@example.com
How old should my kids be?
We want to get dads involved as early in their kids’ lives as possible. The formative years when we really build a relationship with our kids is between the ages of 2 and 8 but we have dads that benefit from being a member with kids ages 1-18. Sometimes grandfathers even find the information helpful. In short, there's no age limit for you or your kids as long as you want to become a more devoted dad.
Can I give a Devoted Dads membership as a gift?
Yes! It makes an excellent gift actually. When you sign up, please use the name and email address of the person you'd like to send the membership to.
