My 4th son has challenge coins from both a Chief on a SEAL team as well as a Green Beret. They both recommended to him to start investing in himself mentally as well as physically. My friend who is the Green Beret brought him the book As A Man Thinketh. Drew read it in a week and has been using quotes from the book. Our kids are never too young to learn how to better themselves mentally. It has made a huge impact on him since he read the book. HE is now on to a Leadership book called Extreme Ownership- How Navy SEALS Lead to Win. I highly recommend both books to both fathers and their sons and daughters. It makes for great conversations

I’ve read both and look forward to reading them with my sons. Great insight. I think we wait too long to introduce self-improvement habits to our kids. I’d like to know what other dads are doing to introduce this topic earlier.
